Service Description

So, you are looking to do something different in the world of pharmacy? So was I! I have experience working in hospital, community, civil service, and industry. My most interesting experience was probably working at the DHSC in the Medicines Shortages team and managing serious national shortages during the COVID pandemic — things like the liquid antibiotic shortage and tocilizumab therapy for COVID. I was also responsible for managing and requesting release from the national COVID stockpile. Currently, I am working for a start-up company, setting up an unlicensed medicines import department. This has taken me in a more commercial direction, but I am enjoying the learning.
